Job Description:

The Holiday Party Coordinator is a member of the Troop Committee responsible for organizing and conducting the annual Troop Holiday Party in December.

Duties:

1. Plan and lead the Annual Holiday Party

2. Supply refreshments for the Annual Holiday Party

How To:

Each December, the Troop holds a Holiday Party to celebrate the end of the year. It is held the last Troop meeting of the year. Each scout brings a can of food as admission to the party. The cans are donated to the Pender Food Bank.

There is a $100 budget for snacks and drinks... usually pizza and soda.

Traditionally, the Troop holds a White Elephant Gift Exchange. Each scout is to bring a wrapped present worth approximately $5. The Coordinator should purchase a few extra gifts for scouts who forget ones. The Coordinator should send out an e-mail of these rules two weeks prior to the event.
