Come see the fun activities that our troop does throughout the year: camp, hike, climb/rappel, STEM, watersports, caving, archery, and survival skills!

Make lasting friendships and learn leadership, teamwork skills and strong values thru the Scout Oath and Law. There are 137 merit badges that allow the scout to experience new hobbies and future professions.

Youth must be 11 or have completed 5th grade. No prior Scout experience is necessary. Troop 1530 has provided the BSA program and servant leadership for 55 years as a traditional Scouts BSA Troop across the Herndon, Reston, Fairfax and Chantilly areas.
